In this abstract you can find the main suggestions for a correct feeding program of your dog and cat.

The first general part summarises a short comparative anatomic-physiologic references, nutritional characteristics of the feeding and some practical examples of food rationing.

The second part deals with the nourishment running of dogs and cats while pregnant, in the period of lactation, growth and maintenance. Beside this some chapters are dedicated to “orphan”puppy, old and athlete dogs.

Soon an abstract on the nourishment running of pathological subjects will be available.
